This is my dog named Sheba. She is an American Bulldog and is one of the most loving dogs I've ever met. She just turned 8 this December, so she's starting to get a little old. One thing that I love about dogs and especially with Sheba is that she always seems to make me smile.

Nexus Brewery has been one of my favorite to eat for about a year now. Now one might ask what kind of food does a heavenly place where everything is perfect make? To answer your question it's New Mexican soul food. To my surprise the two compliment each other quite nicely. One of my favorite things to get when I eat there is their fried chicken and mac&cheese. Although the food might be wonderful we can't forget about the beer when were at a brewery. My favorite beer that they offer is the cream ale the smoothness of the beer is something that is hard to find when buying beer at the store.

Being at DCI finals has to be one of my favorite places to be. When I’m at finals and I’m standing in the stadium I get a flood of so many emotions that’s nearly impossible to explain. Seeing the performances from different corps takes me on new journey for corps to corps. I hope I can be at finals every year for the rest of my life…

Village pizza is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always good and the atmosphere is always positive. What makes me happy when I go village pizza is that it has a small town feel to it, which is really hard to find in the city.

The Phantom Regiment is a professional traveling ensemble based out of Rockford, Illinois. The people in this organization are amazing! All I can do is smile when I think back to the summer. The one thing I loved about Phantom Regiment was performing and being with people that shared my same passion. 

Jessika Bennett is a small town girl from Mason City, Illinois who moved to Albuquerque in 2008. Some of the things that make me happy when I'm around her is seeing her smile and her being able to put up with me. One of my favorite things that we do is we try and travel to different parts of the city to try new places to eat.    

Drum Crops International, is one activity that has several challenges with it, but has been one of the most life changing experiences for me. Drum corps as its called in the community is a collective group of nonprofit organizations  Iv been apart of this activity for the past three years with two with two amazing organizations.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of what makes me happy would be music. The feeling that I get when I listen to music that I love is really unique. The wonderful thing about music is that there is a type or genre for any type of mood that you are in. Music as well as food are the two things that bring people together no matter who you are. Some of my favorite artists that I've loved over years would be Maroon 5 and Tim Mcgraw.

       

Although there are several types of music out there I try and expose myself to all types of music.

What is happiness and why does it make us happy? There are several things in life that make me happy, but I never really noticed them until I thought about them. Is it the people I'm around? Or is it the activities that I'm apart of? For everyone this is a very different answer, but happiness is a feeling. According to Merriam-Webster the definition of Happiness is "a state of well-being and contentment: joy or a pleasurable of satisfying experience". As you can see this could mean really anything that we perceive to make us happy. 

This is going to be a collection of essentially what makes me happy. I'll be talking about the people, places, events and any other thing that brings joy to me.
